Government receives a report from PEMANDU Associates
The Government of Lesotho through the Ministry of Development Planning received a report from Performance Management and Delivery Unit (PEMANDU) Associates, consultants from Malaysia to assist Lesotho to apply Big Fast Results (BFR) Methodology, as the best mechanisms to accelerate private sector driven economic growth and job creation. The report is a result of 9 weeks of intense and rigorous collaboration between the Government of Lesotho, the private entities and the public to prioritizing a list of high-impact projects with specific contribution to the GDP, private investments and jobs. Receiving the BFR Methodology report from PEMANDU Associates the Deputy Principal Secretary Mrs Tseleng Mokhehle said on behalf of the Minister of Development Planning Honourable Aumane the report signifies the closure of an important event of the Lesotho Economic Labortory an exercise which took almost 10 weeks. Mrs Mokhehle said the report is very important for the government to witness what transpired and what needs to happen as a way forward. She further noted that the consultant worked closely with the Ministries of Development Planning and of Finance as well as key Ministries Ministries of Communications, Science and Technology, Agriculture, Trade and Industry and Tourism.
